Melt 5 oz unsalted butter,
Add 3 lb sliced sweet onion
Cook for 10 minutes a law flame in mixing time to time.
Add 3 table spoons of unbleached flour and mix and cook for 2 minutes,
Add 1 glass of sweet white wine, and 1 quartz of chicken broth, 2 bay leaves, 1 brunch of thyme, salt & black pepper to taste, cook for 15 minutes.
Put in a ceramic dish, add on the top 2 toasted slice of french bread,and 3 slices of Comte or Gruyere cheese (No mozzarella please) place in a toaster oven to get a nice and crispy cheese crust.
And voila, just serve!
